About our Sangha
Sangha is a word in Indian languages that can be translated as community or association. Vipassana is a non-sectarian practice that develops concentration, insight, and compassion.
Our primary activity is silent meditation that is held on Tuesday evenings at 134 Garden Street in Prescott, Arizona.

- 6:30 to 6:55 p.m. Open sit
- 7:00 to 7:25 p.m. Formal sit
- 7:30 to 7:55 p.m. Formal sit
- 8:00 to . . . Tea and discussion
You may participate in any or all sits. During the open sit, you may enter or leave at any time. During the formal sits segment, we ask that you enter and leave only during the breaks. Please bring your cushion, if you like, or you can sit in one of our chairs.
Instruction is not required, but is available upon request.
There is no charge for our sits or instruction in this practice.
